MISSION STATEMENT
Masterson & Son Excavation, LLC is a full-service earthworks contractor based out of Bristol, Vermont. We strive to produce quality work for our clients with practical solutions, efficiency, and safety in mind.
Founded in 1991, Masterson & Son Excavation, LLC began with John “Jay” Masterson and transferred to his son Josh Masterson in 2010. Since then, Masterson & Son Excavation has grown into a large-scale commercial excavation company while continuing its longstanding tradition of high quality residential work.
Headquartered in Bristol, VT, Masterson & Son Excavation, LLC is a full-service excavation company. We offer a wide array of residential and commercial earthwork including: foundation excavation, all types of utility excavation and installation (sewer, water, electric, etc), driveways, pond construction, emergency utility repair, culvert/roadway repair, and more. In the winter season we also offer plowing services for both private residences and businesses, as well as government agencies.

From small mini excavators to large GPS-enabled machines, Masterson & Son Excavation, LLC can offer the most effective and efficient approach to accomplish our client's goals for a prospective project. Through our partnership with Murray & Masterson Environmental Services, LLC, we offer seamless start-to-finish environmental assessments straight through to the excavation work that follows. These services include contamination and remediation earthwork, Underground Storage Tank (UST) removal, and more.

TECHNOLOGY
We utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D modeling with our GPS-equipped excavators to set up and execute projects with high accuracy. In-house drafting allows us to quickly make edits and revise these models to keep up with changes in your project's plans, and keep you on time.
FLEXIBILITY
Masterson & Son Excavation, LLC has a wide fleet of equipment to best approach each project in a unique manner. This flexibility enables us to provide the most cost-effective solution that saves time and materials.
ESTIMATING
Utilizing our CAD software we are able to calculate volumes and materials more accurately in the estimation process. This precision enables Masterson & Son Excavation, LLC to offer more competitive pricing for your project.
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
In partnership with our sister company, Murray & Masterson Environmental Services, LLC we are able to offer start-to-finish environmental work including site assessments, tank removal, contamination removal & treatment, and more.
