85 North Avenue, Burlington VT

85 North Avenue is a commercial housing project overlooking the waterfront of Burlington. Perched on the side of the hill above, this project has significant elevation changes in the building footprint and features. We utilized our GPS enabled excavation equipment and rover to layout and excavate the complicated step footing foundation for the associated 18,000 square foot multi-level residential housing complex.  Excavation was completed on a 1.5:1 slope.

Masterson Excavation assisted in clearing and installation of the pier foundation for the parking deck portion of the foundation with the piling company.  Infrastructure included installation of 8-inch water main service and gravity sewer to existing street municipal catch basin.  In-ground stormwater collection and injection system is to be installed in May 2019 beneath the parking lot along with parking lot grading and curb island preparation and finish.
